Img172.jpg Over the years I have used a variety of cameras and lenses. Most of the film shots on this site are shot with Nikon cameras, however a few were shot with a Pentax. All of the digital shot are done with Nikon digital equipment. My lenses are Nikon, Tokina, and Sigma. I have also used some flash equipment from Nikon and SunPack.

Many of my earlier photos posted on this site are 35mm film that has been scanned thus there is a generational loss of quality that is very obvious compared to the digital shots posted on the sight. It is only recently that I have begun using digital equipment mostly due to the time it has taken the manufacturers to develop equipment that provides the quality at very large print. I have enlarged many of my film shots to sizes larger that 24"X36" with little or not problem over the years. The ability to achieve great quality at these sizes is the result of very slow film, in some cases as slow as 25 ISO. Now that Nikon has the D2X which is amazing I have shifted to shooting digital for nearly all my work.
